June Highlights

June was a busy month for us! We got our house ready to sell, put it on the market, and hit the road for our first extended RV trip.

1. First we visited Natural Bridge State Park and Lexington, Virginia. This is such a beautiful place. There are so many things to do in this area, but our walk to see the Natural Bridge and Lace Falls was our favorite.

2. We visited Charlottesville, Virginia and Monticello. I highly recommend the full experience at Monticello. Even if it’s raining.

3. We took two days to explore Gettysburg National Battlefield. Amazing. Surreal. Beautiful.

3. We visited my brother and sister-in-law in St. Michaels, Maryland. This is another must visit place.

August was also a busy month!

November Highlights

We focused on being thankful during this season of “moochdocking.” While it may seem like forever, in light of eternity, it’s just the blink of an eye.

December Highlights

1. We went to Memphis, Tennessee to see Hamilton! It was amazing!!

2. We visited our precious North Carolina family!!

Since this post is already too long, I’ll stop right here. As a new year starts, my goal is to cherish the time I have with the people I love and to be thankful. Happy New Year to all of you!
